The Bespoke Bridal Experience
Your wedding dress should feel like an extension of you — timeless, personal, and thoughtfully created for your moment.
At Alexandra Mayleigh Designs, each bespoke gown is designed and handcrafted through a private one-to-one experience, allowing every detail to be considered with intention, craftsmanship, and care.
From the very first consultation to your final fitting, the bespoke process is designed to feel personal, relaxed, and entirely centred around you. Every gown is created individually within our West Midlands studio, combining modern bridal elegance with couture-inspired craftsmanship.
For brides seeking something truly unique, the bespoke experience offers the opportunity to create a gown that reflects your personality, your story, and the way you want to feel on your wedding day.

The Details
01. Your Consultation
Your bespoke experience begins with a private design consultation within our studio. During this appointment, we explore your ideas, inspirations, silhouettes, fabrics, and the overall vision for your wedding day look.
This is a collaborative and creative appointment where initial sketches, design direction, and styling ideas begin to take shape.
02. Design & Fabric Selection
Following consultation, your gown design is refined and your fabrics are carefully selected to complement the final vision of your dress.
Every detail is considered thoughtfully — from structure and silhouette to movement, texture, and finish.
03. Toile & Fittings
A toile fitting allows the design to be developed and perfected before your gown is created in its final fabrics.
Throughout the bespoke process, fittings are used to refine fit, shape, and detail, ensuring your gown feels beautifully tailored to you.
04. Handcrafted Creation
Once approved, your gown is handcrafted within our studio using carefully selected materials and couture-inspired techniques.
Each gown is created individually, allowing time and attention to be given to every stage of the process.
05. Final Fitting
Your final fitting takes place approximately two weeks before your wedding date, where final details are perfected and your gown is prepared for collection.
At this stage, your gown is fully complete and ready for your wedding day.
